When Jaime was getting ready to celebrate her 6th birthday, her mother contacted me requesting a dance themed cake featuring silhouettes. Jaime is into all kinds of dance and her favourite colour is purple! I have made other cakes with silhouettes and decided to use those featuring various forms of dance around the perimeter of the cake. The cake is covered in buttercream with all accents made of fondant. A top hat, which was actually a miniature cake, ballet slippers and #6 were placed on the top of the cake!
